Richard "Dick" Grayson, born December 1st, 1996) was the first Robin. The former protégé of Batman, Robin was a founding member of the Team. In season 2, Richard had become Nightwing and assumed the leadership role of the covert operations team while Aqualad was in deep cover, infiltrating the Light to learn more about their activities. When Aqualad completed that mission, Nightwing stepped down as leader. As Team leader, Nightwing acted as a mentor to the current Robin, Tim Drake.
